As an Ethical and Fairtrade coffee supplier, Kingdom Coffee invests in a percentage of their profits into AMI San Lucas - a project working in health education and community development with communities around Lake Atitlan, Guatemala, where coffee grown is an important source of income.
AMI San Lucas is commited to teaching the local people about protecting their immediate environment and preventing pollution, thereby ensuring that coffee will continue to grow, along with other crops such as plants used for medicines. Latin Link and Kingdom Coffee are encouraged by the work that AMI San Lucas is already involved in and are keen to support their sustainable vision. The support from Kingdom Coffee will buy stoves for local families that reduce wood burning by 60 per cent.
Latin Link is a Christian mission agency with a passion for Latin America. Its members work with local churches and organisations to help meet a diverse range of spiritual and practical needs of the people of Latin America.
